Brendan Allen Criticizes Dricus du Plessis for Choosing Kamaru Usman Fight

Brendan Allen has publicly criticized Dricus du Plessis for selecting Kamaru Usman as an opponent instead of fighting him. Allen contends that du Plessis chose the easier option by facing Usman, who is considered a bigger draw despite being older and competing in a higher weight class.

Allen believes that he would have posed a greater challenge than Usman, emphasizing that their fight was initially planned. He asserts that the decision to fight Usman was a strategic move by du Plessis, who he claims is avoiding a tougher matchup.
