Everton and Crystal Palace have executed a player swap involving Brennan Johnson and Dwight McNeil, as confirmed by both clubs on Tuesday.

Brennan Johnson, 25, has signed a four-year contract with Everton, while 26-year-old Dwight McNeil has agreed to a deal with Crystal Palace that runs until 2030. Johnson previously joined Palace in January from Tottenham Hotspur, making 26 appearances across all competitions.

McNeil, who scored 15 goals and provided 19 assists in 128 appearances for Everton since his transfer from Burnley in 2022, expressed enthusiasm about joining Palace, citing the team's recent successes. The two teams are set to face each other at Hill Dickinson Stadium on August 22 during the opening weekend of the Premier League season.
