Brennan Poole to Depart Alpha Prime Racing After 2026 Season

Brennan Poole and Alpha Prime Racing have announced their separation, effective after the conclusion of the 2026 NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series season. The team stated that Poole has decided not to return for the 2027 season, marking the end of a three-year collaboration.

During his tenure, Poole, who has participated in over 200 NASCAR O'Reilly races, has achieved notable results, including a fourth-place finish at Rockingham and Martinsville in 2025. Alpha Prime Racing recently revealed a partnership with Ford for the upcoming season, but Poole will not be part of this new direction.

Despite the team's efforts to retain him, Poole declined an offer for 2027. Team owner Tommy Joe Martins expressed disappointment at Poole's decision, acknowledging the driver's contributions to the team's success. Co-owner Caesar Bacarella also shared his regret over the departure, emphasizing Poole's value to the team.
