Brewers and Dodgers Set for NLCS Showdown

The National League Championship Series will feature a matchup between the Milwaukee Brewers and the Los Angeles Dodgers, commencing at 7 pm CT on Sunday. The Brewers will start Jacob Misiorowski, while the Dodgers will counter with two-time Cy Young winner Tarik Skubal.

Both teams enter the series well-rested after completing their Division Series on Wednesday. Milwaukee advanced by winning three out of four games against the Padres, with all games decided by a total of five runs. Similarly, the Dodgers triumphed over the Braves in four games, with each contest also decided by three runs or fewer.

This season marked a milestone for the Brewers, as they achieved over 100 victories for the first time, finishing with 103 wins, the highest in both leagues. Their offense was notably strong, ranking second in runs scored. Misiorowski, a leading candidate for the NL Cy Young award, posted a 1.80 ERA and 252 strikeouts. The Dodgers, aiming for their third consecutive title, also won over 100 games and have a formidable pitching lineup, including Blake Snell and Yoshinobu Yamamoto.
