Brian Fleury Takes on Role as Offensive Coordinator for Seattle Seahawks

Brian Fleury is set to take on his first role as an offensive coordinator for the Seattle Seahawks, marking a significant milestone in his coaching career that spans over two decades at both the college and professional levels.

Previously an assistant coach on Kyle Shanahan’s staff in San Francisco for seven seasons, Fleury transitioned from a defensive quality control coach to the offensive side, eventually becoming the tight ends coach and run game coordinator. He replaces Klint Kubiak, who moved on to a head coaching position after one year.

Fleury acknowledges the challenges ahead, especially with head coach Mike Macdonald focusing on defense. He aims to build on the successful strategies that led the Seahawks to a Super Bowl victory in 2025. Fleury expressed enthusiasm for his new role, stating he has enjoyed practice more in the past two days than in the last seven years.
