Bridget Carleton Leads Portland Fire to Victory Over Seattle Storm

In a recent WNBA matchup, Bridget Carleton scored 24 points, including four three-pointers, leading the Portland Fire to a 100-93 victory against the Seattle Storm in Portland, Oregon.

The Storm, now with an overall record of 6-28, faced their 11th straight loss, becoming the first team in league history to have two double-digit losing streaks in a single season. Jade Melbourne contributed 23 points for Seattle, which had previously lost to the New York Liberty.

Portland, improving to 13-19, had recently ended a five-game losing streak with a win over Toronto. The Fire initially trailed after the first quarter but surged ahead with a 17-5 run. Seattle's Flau’jae Johnson suffered an ankle injury during the game but returned briefly in the fourth quarter. The Storm also missed Katie Lou Samuelson due to a knee injury.
