Brisbane Establishes Coaching Selection Panel Following Fagan's Departure
Brisbane has detailed its approach to appoint a new senior coach following Chris Fagan's decision to step down after the team's recent threepeat.
The selection panel will be chaired by Andrew Wellington and includes chief executive Sam Graham, footy boss Danny Daly, and AFL champion Leigh Matthews in an advisory role. Simon Black and club psychologist Matti Clements will also support the panel, both of whom were involved in the previous coaching appointment.
Daly has opted not to pursue the head coach position and will instead take on an elevated role as General Manager Football. Graham expressed confidence in the panel's experience and skills, emphasizing the importance of a thorough selection process to ensure the club's future success.
