Broc Feeney Secures Victory at Gold Coast Supercars Finals
Broc Feeney achieved his first Supercars victory on the Gold Coast during the second race of the Finals, following a strong performance on Sunday.
Feeney, driving a Triple Eight Chevrolet Camaro, started from pole position and quickly established a lead, unlike the previous day's race. His teammate Will Brown fell back, allowing Brodie Kostecki from Dick Johnson Racing to move up from fourth place. Chaz Mostert, who started further back, focused on helping his teammate Ryan Wood advance in the standings.
Feeney expressed relief at the win, noting the emotional intensity of the final lap. Kostecki finished second, while Mostert secured third place. The race saw no Chevrolets in the top 14 finishers, with several drivers facing challenges. The next round of the Supercars Championship is scheduled for Sandown Park in Melbourne from November 6-8.
