Brock Bowers Misses Wednesday Practice, Return Possible Soon
Brock Bowers, the tight end for the Raiders, will not participate in practice at the beginning of the week, although a return is anticipated shortly.
Head coach Klint Kubiak informed the media that Bowers, who is recovering from a knee procedure, is not yet ready to practice but remains hopeful for his return this week. Bowers had a meniscus trim last week and is currently listed as day-to-day.
In the previous season, Bowers played 12 games, recording 64 receptions for 680 yards and scoring seven touchdowns. Additionally, cornerback Darien Porter is also not expected to practice on Wednesday due to a foot injury and is considered day-to-day. The Raiders will release their first injury report for the upcoming Week 2 game against the Chargers later today.
