Broncos Defense Aims to Break NFL Sack Record

The Denver Broncos' defense is setting its sights on breaking the NFL record for sacks this season, which currently stands at 72, established by the 1984 Bears.

Defensive lineman D.J. Jones expressed confidence during training camp, echoing teammate Zach Allen's earlier predictions. Last season, the Broncos recorded 68 sacks, and Jones believes they can secure the additional five needed to set a new record.

Jones emphasized the team's readiness and determination, stating they possess the necessary skills and mindset to achieve this milestone. He also mentioned a recent practice incident where defensive end Malcolm Roach demonstrated the team's aggressive style by knocking down quarterback Bo Nix, highlighting the physical nature of their defense.
