
Broncos Release Running Back Jaleel McLaughlin Among Other Cuts
The Denver Broncos have finalized their roster reduction to 53 players, which includes the release of running back Jaleel McLaughlin, a fourth-year player who has participated in 41 games and made nine starts.
In addition to McLaughlin, the Broncos waived several other players, including defensive tackle Israel Antwine, cornerback Brent Austin, and wide receiver Michael Bandy, among others. The team also designated linebacker Drew Sanders as waived/injured.
Furthermore, the Broncos released several vested veterans, including long snapper Mitchell Fraboni and tight end Lucas Krull. Tackle Frank Crum and tight end Caleb Lohner were placed on injured reserve with a designation to return, while guard Nick Gargiulo was placed on the reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list. Linebacker Jonathon Cooper was also placed on the Commissioner Exempt list.
