Broncos Secure Victory Despite Struggling Offense
The Denver Broncos achieved a surprising victory against the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night, despite a notably ineffective offensive performance.
During their last 10 possessions, which included two in the second quarter, three in the third, four in the fourth, and one in overtime, the Broncos amassed only 32 yards. Seven of these possessions resulted in punts, while two concluded with the halves. The overtime possession began in field goal range and culminated in the game-winning field goal.
Quarterback Bo Nix struggled throughout the game, completing 27 passes for 107 yards, suffering two sacks for a total loss of 13 yards, and rushing four times for just two yards. This resulted in a total of 96 yards over 33 plays, averaging 2.9 yards per play. The Broncos benefited from Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold's overtime interception, which allowed them to secure the win.
