The Denver Broncos have decided to place wide receiver Pat Bryant on injured reserve following a change in their assessment of his ankle injury. This decision comes after head coach Sean Payton initially indicated that Bryant would not be placed on injured reserve.
Bryant sustained the injury during the Broncos' loss to the 49ers last Sunday. As a result, he will be unavailable for at least the next four games, which include matchups against the Chargers, Seahawks, Cardinals, and Chiefs.
This season, Bryant has recorded nine receptions for 133 yards and one touchdown.
