Brooke Havok's Injury Alters WWE Title Plans
Brooke Havok was reportedly in line for a WWE Women’s Independent Development title victory prior to suffering a significant knee injury.
The injury occurred during a match in Philadelphia, where Havok announced she had torn her ACL and meniscus, along with other injuries that would necessitate surgery. This setback was particularly disappointing as she had garnered attention from WWE officials during tryouts over SummerSlam weekend.
Havok was considered a potential candidate to dethrone Laynie Luck as WWE Women’s ID Champion, but her injury has forced WWE to reconsider their plans. Following her injury, Monica Monroe ended Luck’s 320-day title reign. Havok, who began her wrestling career in 2020, has faced previous knee injuries that interrupted her progress, and it remains uncertain how long she will be sidelined after surgery.
