Browns Coach Monken Discusses Quarterback Plans for Preseason Game

Browns head coach Todd Monken has not announced which quarterback will start in the team's first preseason game against the Bears, but he confirmed that both Shedeur Sanders and Deshaun Watson will participate.

During a press conference, Monken indicated that one quarterback would start this week while the other would take the lead next week. He plans for the starting quarterback to play a half and attempt a two-minute drill before halftime, with the non-starter playing in the third quarter.

He also mentioned that the starting offensive line would play for much of the first half, although they may not be on the field with the starting quarterback for the entire duration.
