Browns Confirm Shedeur Sanders Will Not Be Traded

Shedeur Sanders, the backup quarterback for the Cleveland Browns, will not be traded, according to reports. This decision comes as Deshaun Watson continues to lead the team to a strong 5-2 record this season.

Sanders, who recently hired an agent for the first time, was initially expected to compete for playing time after a close training camp battle. However, with Watson's impressive performance, Sanders remains firmly in the backup role.

Despite expectations that he might be a first-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Sanders fell to the sixth round, a situation some attribute to not having an agent during the draft process. The Browns are focusing on developing Sanders as a future asset, especially with Watson's contract nearing its end.
