Browns Extend Contract for Defensive Tackle Maliek Collins
The Cleveland Browns have announced that defensive tackle Maliek Collins has signed a two-year contract extension with the team. This news comes as the Browns, currently with a 5-3 record, find another reason to celebrate.
Browns General Manager Andrew Berry praised Collins for his performance since joining the team in the 2025 offseason, highlighting his role as a disruptive force in the defense and one of the top interior pass rushers in the league. Berry noted Collins' contributions both on the field and as a veteran presence in the team's facilities.
Last season, Collins achieved a career-high of 6.5 sacks in 12 games. This season, he has recorded 3.5 sacks, six tackles for loss, and eight quarterback hits in just seven games. Over his career, Collins has accumulated 40.5 sacks while playing for multiple teams, including the Cowboys, Raiders, Texans, 49ers, and Browns.
