Browns' Jared Verse Misses Practice, Expected to Play Against Steelers
Defensive end Jared Verse was absent from practice on Wednesday due to a knee injury, but the Cleveland Browns are optimistic about his availability for the game against the Pittsburgh Steelers this Sunday.
Head coach Todd Monken indicated that Verse experienced some swelling, prompting the team to allow him to rest. Other players missing practice included right tackle Tytus Howard, who is dealing with a concussion, and center Elgton Jenkins, who has a knee issue.
Several players participated in practice on a limited basis, including safety Grant Delpit, defensive tackles Mason Graham and Mike Hall Jr., cornerback Myles Harden, running back Dylan Sampson, linebacker Carson Schwesinger, and safety Daniel Thomas, all of whom are managing various injuries.
