Browns Rookie WR KC Concepcion Injured in Loss to Jets
During a game on Sunday, Cleveland Browns rookie wide receiver KC Concepcion sustained a head injury in the first quarter of their 17-12 loss to the New York Jets.
The injury occurred when Jets safety Minkah Fitzpatrick collided with Concepcion in a helmet-to-helmet hit, causing Concepcion to remain on the field for several minutes before being assisted off. Fitzpatrick received a penalty for the hit, but Browns coach Todd Monken stated that it was not a dirty play.
Before leaving the game, Concepcion recorded one catch for 5 yards. The first-round draft pick from Texas A&M has accumulated 18 receptions for 149 yards over five games. Additionally, Browns running back Raheim Sanders and right tackle Tytus Howard also suffered injuries during the match.
