
Bruno Fernandes Wins PFA Players' Player of the Year for 2025/26 Season
Bruno Fernandes, the captain of Manchester United, has been named the men's PFA Players' Player of the Year for the 2025/26 season. This recognition comes as Manchester City’s Bunny Shaw also claimed the women's award for the second time.
During the season, Fernandes set a new record for Premier League assists, providing 21 assists and scoring nine goals, contributing to United's third-place finish in the league and their return to the Champions League.
Shaw, who previously won the award in the 2023-24 season, scored 21 goals this season, securing her third consecutive Golden Boot and her first Women's Super League title. Additionally, Arsenal's Olivia Smith and Manchester City's Nico O'Reilly received the Young Player of the Year awards in their respective categories.
