Bryce Young to Appear as Celebrity Guest Picker on College GameDay

Bryce Young, the quarterback for the Carolina Panthers, will be featured as the celebrity guest picker on ESPN's College GameDay this Saturday. The event will take place in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where Georgia will face Alabama later that evening.

The announcement was made by Pat McAfee during his show on Thursday. Young, who previously played for Alabama, has a notable history with the teams, having led Alabama to victory over Georgia in the 2021 SEC Championship Game, although he later lost to them in the CFP National Championship Game.

As the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 draft, Young has been performing well in the current season, leading the league with 1,268 passing yards and achieving a completion rate of 62.3 percent. He has recorded nine touchdowns and two interceptions for the Panthers, who currently hold a 2-2 record.
