Bryce Young's Knee Injury Sparks Disagreement After Panthers' Loss
In a recent game, the Carolina Panthers faced a 27-19 defeat against the Green Bay Packers, dropping their record to 3-4. Quarterback Bryce Young was sacked six times during the match, which took place on Thursday night.
Despite dealing with a left-knee injury sustained in Week 3, Young stated that it was not an excuse for the team's performance. He completed 23 of 41 passes for 209 yards, including one touchdown and one interception. Young acknowledged the Packers' defensive execution but emphasized the need for his team to improve.
However, Panthers head coach Dave Canales noted that Young did not appear to be at his best, particularly in utilizing his scrambling abilities. Canales highlighted the pressure from the Packers' defense as a significant factor in the game. Following a bye week, Young will have additional time to recover before the Panthers host the Denver Broncos on November 8.
