CEO Scott O’Neil mentioned that a new lead investor has been secured to replace the Saudi Public Investment Fund, although the identity of this investor remains undisclosed. The league is also working to finalize its funding agreement by September, with Jon Rahm's future still uncertain.

Despite these obstacles, DeChambeau pointed to LIV's international events as evidence of its growth. He expressed hope that the league would be given another chance to demonstrate its value, contrasting his views with McIlroy's skepticism regarding the league's impact on the PGA Tour.
