The Buccaneers have signed rookie wide receiver Matthew Henry as they address their needs at the position ahead of the preseason's final week.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have added rookie wide receiver Matthew Henry to their roster, as announced by the team on Tuesday.

This signing comes after the Buccaneers placed rookie defensive lineman Deshawn McKnight on injured reserve due to a hamstring injury sustained during a preseason game against the Chiefs.

Henry completed his college career at Western Kentucky, where he started all 13 games in 2025, recording 55 receptions for 888 yards and six touchdowns, earning a spot on the All-Conference USA second team. After going undrafted in April, he attended rookie minicamps with the Titans and 49ers. The Buccaneers are looking to bolster their receiving corps as several wide receivers, including Emeka Egbuka, Jalen McMillan, and Tez Johnson, have been sidelined with injuries.
