During a joint practice session on Tuesday, Browning exited the field while appearing to walk gingerly, prompting concerns about his availability. Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles confirmed that Browning was intended to start but did not provide any updates on his injury status.

In Browning's absence, Connor Bazelak took over quarterback duties during practice. With Baker Mayfield not participating in the game, rookie Jalon Daniels may also be called upon, potentially leaving Bazelak and Daniels as the only quarterbacks available for Thursday's matchup.
