Buffalo Bills Release Third-String Quarterback Shane Buechele

The Buffalo Bills have announced the release of third-string quarterback Shane Buechele as they finalize their 53-player roster.

Buechele played the entire game during the preseason finale, completing 26 of 38 passes for 196 yards in a close 28-27 victory. However, the team has opted to retain only two quarterbacks, with Josh Allen as the starter and Kyle Allen as the backup.

There is a possibility that Buechele could return to the Bills' practice squad if he is not claimed by another team for their active roster.
