Buffalo Bills Trade Center Sedrick Van Pran-Granger to Indianapolis Colts

The Buffalo Bills have finalized a trade sending center Sedrick Van Pran-Granger and a 2027 seventh-round draft pick to the Indianapolis Colts in exchange for a 2027 sixth-round pick. This decision was announced by the team on Sunday.

Van Pran-Granger, 24, has participated in 31 games over the past two seasons but struggled to secure a position on the roster. Despite hopes for his development into a backup center role, he lost out to veteran Lloyd Cushenberry III, who was signed to a one-year deal in the offseason. Following an injury to starting center Connor McGovern, Cushenberry was the only center to practice with quarterback Josh Allen, indicating a shift in the team's plans.

The Bills faced a challenging roster situation along the offensive line, with a limited number of spots available. They had invested in several young linemen, which contributed to the decision to trade Van Pran-Granger, who had primarily played center and had not established himself at guard during his time with the team.
