As the Undisputed WWE Championship match approaches in Toronto, CM Punk and Kevin Owens have been exchanging verbal jabs on WWE SmackDown. During a recent episode, Punk referred to the WWE locker room as his own, prompting Bully Ray to share his thoughts on the matter.
On Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray remarked that Punk's comment made him appear negatively, despite recognizing it was part of a scripted promo. He noted that in his experience, no one in ECW or during the Attitude Era referred to the locker room in such a possessive manner, emphasizing that it should be seen as 'our locker room' instead.
The ongoing promo exchanges between Punk and Owens have included references to their past interactions in Ring of Honor. Owens also suggested that Punk's attempts to reconcile past issues were insincere, alluding to Punk's previous challenges during his time with AEW before returning to WWE.
