Bully Ray Discusses Vince McMahon's Vision for Dudley Boyz Return to WWE

The Dudley Boyz, known for their iconic status in ECW and WWE, returned to WWE in 2015 after a decade-long absence. D-Von and Bubba Ray, also known as Bully Ray, were brought back for a final run before their induction into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2018.

During a recent episode of Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray recounted a disagreement with Vince McMahon on their first day back. McMahon had a specific plan for the team, which included addressing other wrestlers, but Bully felt it would detract from their moment. Following this, McMahon outlined a strategy for the Dudley Boyz to elevate teams like The New Day, The Usos, and The Wyatt Family. Bully acknowledged that while he disagreed with McMahon's approach, he was proud of the contributions made to those teams' successes.

Despite the initial success, Bully Ray expressed dissatisfaction with how they were booked over time, leading to his decision to leave WWE after three years. He felt that their roles had diminished significantly, culminating in a conversation with McMahon where he expressed his frustrations about their treatment.
