Burnley Parts Ways with Coach Nicky Hayen After Heavy Loss

Burnley Football Club has terminated the contract of head coach Nicky Hayen after a disappointing 4-1 loss to Lincoln City. This defeat occurred at Sincil Bank and marked Burnley's sixth loss of the season.

The Clarets initially took the lead with a goal from Andreas Hountondji, but Lincoln City responded with an equalizer from Ben House, followed by two goals from Mikkel Ladefoged and another from Dom Jefferies, securing the win for Lincoln.

Following this match, Burnley found themselves in a precarious position, sitting third from the bottom in the Championship with only eight points from 12 games. Hayen had been in charge since July.
