Cadillac Fined Twice for Sergio Perez's Pitlane Speeding at Spanish Grand Prix

The Cadillac Formula 1 team has incurred two fines following an incident involving Sergio Perez during the first free practice session at the Spanish Grand Prix in Madrid.

Perez was penalized for exceeding the pitlane speed limit of 80km/h on two occasions. The first violation resulted in a €700 fine when he was recorded at 86.7km/h, while the second offense led to a €1000 penalty after he reached 96.7km/h.

This incident adds to the challenges faced by Cadillac in their debut season, as both Perez and his teammate Valtteri Bottas currently sit at the bottom of the drivers' standings without any points. The practice session also marked the drivers' first experience on the newly constructed Madring circuit, which features a combination of tight corners and high-speed straights.
