Cadillac Formula 1 Team Wraps Up Challenging Singapore Grand Prix
The Cadillac Formula 1 Team completed the Singapore Grand Prix with Checo Pérez finishing in 17th place and Valtteri Bottas in 19th, following a challenging race at the Marina Bay Street Circuit.
Pérez started and ended the race in 17th, gaining a position due to Alex Albon's retirement on the final lap. He executed a two-stop strategy, switching from Soft to Medium tires before returning to Softs for the finish. Bottas, who began in 18th, finished in 19th after struggling with tire performance, starting on Medium tires that did not suit the race conditions.
Despite the difficulties, both drivers completed the race, providing valuable data for the team during their first visit to Singapore. The focus now shifts to the upcoming United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas, scheduled for October 23-25, marking the team's second home race of the season.
