Cadillac has launched a special edition of its Escalade-V SUV, named after Formula 1 driver Sergio Perez, ahead of the Mexico City Grand Prix.
Only 11 units of the Escalade-V Checo Perez Edition will be produced, celebrating Perez's race number. The vehicle is priced at approximately 4,099,000 pesos, or around $222,500, which is higher than the standard model.
The SUV features cosmetic enhancements, including black badges and an illuminated grille, while the interior includes sports pedals and numbered plaques. Performance specifications remain unchanged, with a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine delivering 682hp. This launch coincides with Perez's upcoming 300th grand prix start, although he has indicated that he may be nearing the end of his F1 career.
