Caio Borralho to Fight Khamzat Chimaev After Callout
Caio Borralho has confirmed his willingness to fight Khamzat Chimaev following a social media callout from Chimaev, who is targeting UFC 334 in November at Madison Square Garden or UFC 335 in December at T-Mobile Arena.
Chimaev's callout comes after his first career loss to Sean Strickland in May, which ended a 15-fight winning streak. He initially sought an immediate rematch but later expanded his focus to include Borralho, Strickland, Dricus du Plessis, and Nassourdine Imavov.
Borralho recently secured a victory over Reinier de Ridder in March, recovering from a previous loss to Imavov last September. He is nearing the end of his recovery from rib surgery and is eager to start training, expressing a preference for a fight at Madison Square Garden against a top-10 opponent. As of now, no official fight has been scheduled.
