In her debut, Clark set several records, including achieving 11 assists, the highest for a player in their first World Cup game with the U.S., surpassing the previous record of nine assists. Additionally, she became the first player in Women's World Cup history to record at least 10 assists without any turnovers. This achievement places her among only eight players to have recorded more than 10 assists in a Women's World Cup game since the statistic was first tracked in 1994.
