
Caitlin Clark Achieves Triple-Double in Fever's Win Over Fire
In Portland, Oregon, Caitlin Clark achieved her fourth career triple-double, scoring 26 points, along with 10 rebounds and 10 assists, as the Indiana Fever defeated the Portland Fire 112-98 on Friday night.
Kelsey Mitchell also contributed 26 points for the Fever, who have now won five straight games and nine of their last eleven, consistently scoring over 100 points in their recent matches. Bridget Carleton led the Fire with 26 points, but the team has lost four consecutive games.
The Fever extended their lead significantly in the third quarter, going up by 18 points before entering the final quarter at 90-72. Although the Fire attempted a comeback, narrowing the gap to 100-93 late in the game, Clark's free throws sealed the victory. The match attracted a record crowd of 19,959 fans at the Moda Center.
