Caleb Bacon Earns Big Ten Co-Defensive Player of the Week Honors

Penn State football's Caleb Bacon has been named a Big Ten Co-Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference on Monday.

In his debut game at defensive end against Marshall, Bacon recorded six total tackles, including three tackles-for-loss and one sack, showcasing his ability to pressure the opposing offense effectively.

Bacon shared the honor with UCLA's Ta'Shawn James, who achieved two interceptions in his game. The last Penn State player to receive this recognition was Dani Dennis-Sutton in 2025.
