Caleb Williams Returns to Practice Ahead of Packers-Bears Game
Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams returned to practice on Friday in a limited capacity, marking his first participation in nearly three weeks ahead of the NFC North matchup against the Green Bay Packers.
Williams, who has been sidelined since a right hamstring injury during a loss to Minnesota on September 20, is listed as questionable for the Week 5 game at Lambeau Field. Earlier in the week, head coach Ben Johnson indicated that Williams would not play, naming backup Tyson Bagent as the starter.
During Friday's practice, Williams engaged in stretching and jogging with the quarterbacks but did not take first-team snaps. Despite the uncertainty surrounding his status, Bagent is still expected to start. The Bears have scored 112 points and allowed 65 in their first four games, currently holding a 3-1 record.
