Caleb Williams Set to Start for Bears Against Falcons
The Chicago Bears are preparing to have Caleb Williams back as their starting quarterback for the game against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. Williams, who missed three games due to a torn hamstring, returned to full practice this week and took the starter's reps.
Although officially listed as questionable for Week 6, his participation in practice indicates a positive recovery trajectory. Prior to his injury, Williams played in two games, achieving a completion percentage of 65.6 with 407 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception.
In his absence, the Bears relied on quarterbacks Tyson Bagent and Case Keenum, securing two wins out of three games. The team is currently at 3-2 in a competitive division, with the Vikings leading the standings. Williams, drafted first overall in 2024, previously led the Bears to the playoffs in his second season.
