Calgary Flames GM Clarifies Jonathan Huberdeau's Training Camp Status

Conroy explained that his previous remarks were misinterpreted, stating that while Huberdeau is not ready for the first day of camp, he is progressing well after undergoing hip resurfacing surgery in March. Huberdeau is skating regularly with teammates, but no specific timeline for his return has been established.

Conroy expressed confidence in Huberdeau's recovery, noting that he is free from the pain he previously experienced. The Flames are also set to bring in Alex Nylander on a Professional Tryout contract, as they look to bolster their roster with younger players during a shortened training camp.
