Cam Little Aims to Break Field Goal Record in Denver
Jaguars kicker Cam Little, known for his powerful leg, previously set the NFL record for the longest field goal at 68 yards last season in Las Vegas. He also achieved the second-longest field goal at 67 yards in Jacksonville and kicked a 70-yard field goal during the preseason.
This Sunday, Little will play in Denver, where the high altitude could enhance his chances of breaking his own record. The reduced air density at Mile High Stadium allows kickers to kick approximately five yards farther than at sea level.
In last year's game in Denver, Little successfully made a 47-yard field goal, but he notably hit a 73-yard field goal during warmups. While making a field goal in a game is more challenging than in practice, Little's skills and the conditions in Denver may align for a record-breaking attempt.
