Camden Brown Shines in Preseason, Boosting Chances for Cowboys Roster
Camden Brown, an undrafted rookie wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys, is making a strong case for a spot on the regular-season roster following a standout performance in the preseason.
In his first preseason game, Brown caught all three passes thrown to him, totaling 62 yards and scoring two touchdowns. His training camp performance has exceeded expectations, prompting praise from head coach Brian Schottenheimer, who noted that Brown is demonstrating the necessary skills to secure a place on the team.
Brown previously played at Auburn before transferring to Georgia Southern, where he excelled last season with 65 receptions for 1,079 yards and 14 touchdowns. Despite the competition in the Cowboys' wide receiver lineup, Brown's consistent performance could make it difficult for the team to overlook him as they finalize their roster.
