
Cameron McInnes to Join York Knights in 2027
Cameron McInnes has signed a three-year contract with York Knights, confirming his move to the Super League in 2027. The 32-year-old forward has played the last five seasons with Cronulla Sharks, following previous stints at St George-Illawarra Dragons and South Sydney Rabbitohs.
Since his debut in 2014, McInnes has participated in nearly 250 NRL games and represented New South Wales in the State of Origin series in 2024. He expressed enthusiasm about joining York Knights, highlighting his ambition to play in the Super League and the motivation of being part of a team at the start of its journey.
Currently, York Knights are positioned 13th in their inaugural Super League season, with two matches left in the regular season.
