Canadiens Fans Call for Dylan Larkin During Game

During a recent game at the Bell Centre, Montreal Canadiens fans expressed their desire for Dylan Larkin, a star player for the Detroit Red Wings, to consider joining their team. The chants of 'We want Larkin' began before the game and intensified as the match progressed.

Despite Larkin not including the Canadiens on his trade list submitted to the Red Wings, fans made their feelings clear as their team secured a 1-0 victory in a shootout, improving their season record to 2-2-1 while the Red Wings fell to 1-3-1. Larkin acknowledged the passionate atmosphere in Montreal, noting that it was unexpected but appreciated.

Head coach Todd McLellan recognized that Larkin's trade situation is a distraction, but he commended his team for maintaining focus during the game. Canadiens fans have long sought a strong second-line center, and Larkin's impressive career statistics make him an appealing target. With his current contract fitting well within the Canadiens' salary cap, the fans' hopes for Larkin to join their team remain high.
