Cardale Jones Joins Staples Wreckers as Quarterbacks Coach
Cardale Jones, a former championship-winning quarterback for the Ohio State Buckeyes, has joined the Staples Wreckers in Westport, Connecticut, as their new quarterbacks coach. This appointment comes as the Wreckers prepare to start their 2026 season against Westhill High School on September 10.
Jones, who has an extensive background in football, including time in the NFL, XFL, CFL, and IFL, is expected to bring significant experience to the team. He previously played for the Buffalo Bills and currently works as an analyst for CBS Sports.
During his time at Ohio State from 2013 to 2015, Jones led the Buckeyes to a national championship, showcasing his skills in crucial games against top-ranked teams. The Staples Wreckers, known for their successful football program, will benefit from his expertise as they aim to continue their legacy in Connecticut high school football.
