Cardiff City to Sign Jack Moylan from Lincoln City
Cardiff City is preparing to sign midfielder Jack Moylan from Championship rivals Lincoln City. The 24-year-old played a crucial role in Lincoln's promotion to the Championship, scoring 11 goals and providing six assists during the League One season.
Moylan's standout performance earned him a call-up to the Republic of Ireland national team, where he scored a hat-trick on his debut in a 5-0 victory over Grenada. He will join Cardiff's manager, Brian Barry-Murphy, who is also from Ireland.
This transfer marks Cardiff's second signing of the summer, following the acquisition of Nathan Trott in May. The team recently defeated Roma 4-1 and is set to face Swindon Town in the EFL Cup on August 8, with their league campaign starting against Wrexham on August 17.
