Carlos Rodon Set to Return for Yankees Against Orioles
The New York Yankees are set to welcome back pitcher Carlos Rodon as he is activated from the injured list to start against the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday.
Rodon has pitched 46 1/3 innings this season and has not played since June 28 due to an elbow injury. He has maintained a 3.30 ERA over nine starts this season, showing improvement in both his walk rate and opponents' slugging percentage compared to last year.
The Yankees have not yet disclosed their rotation plans following Rodon's return. They may opt for a five-man rotation, which could involve moving right-hander Will Warren to Triple-A or the bullpen, or they might implement a six-man rotation to provide extra rest for each starter.
