Carolina Panthers' Tetairoa McMillan Sets Rookie Receiving Record
The Carolina Panthers secured a spot in the NFL postseason for the first time since 2017, finishing the 2025 season with an 8-9 record despite losing three of their last four games.
This achievement was significantly aided by Tetairoa McMillan, who was selected eighth overall in the 2025 NFL Draft. McMillan, the AP Offensive Rookie of the Year, set a franchise rookie record with 1,014 receiving yards, catching 70 passes and scoring seven touchdowns. In the Wild Card game against the Los Angeles Rams, he contributed five receptions for 81 yards.
As the Panthers aim to defend their NFC South title and achieve a winning record, McMillan's performance will be crucial, especially as the team evaluates quarterback Bryce Young's long-term potential.
