Carson Beck's Rib Injury Status Uncertain Ahead of Preseason Game

Carson Beck, the rookie quarterback for the Cardinals, is recovering from a rib injury sustained during the Hall of Fame Game. Although he is showing improvement, it is unclear if he will participate in the preseason match against the Packers this Friday.

Head coach Mike LaFleur mentioned that Beck's recent throwing session was successful, but emphasized that the decision on his playing status is still pending. In his only preseason game so far, Beck completed 15 of 19 passes for 188 yards, including one touchdown, without any interceptions.

As the regular season approaches, Beck's injury has limited his practice time, which is crucial for his development as a young quarterback. LaFleur acknowledged the challenges of missing practice, noting that injuries are a common aspect of the sport.
