Cash Berzolla Completes Thrilling 4-Mile Downwind Run Amid Hurricane Lala
Cash Berzolla demonstrated his adventurous spirit by embarking on a 4-mile downwind run during Hurricane Lala. Despite being sick and facing the storm's fierce winds, Berzolla chose to take advantage of the conditions rather than stay indoors.
The 20-year-old, who hails from Maui, is gaining recognition as a remarkable foiler. As Hurricane Lala approached with gusts reaching 50 knots, he and his partners ventured out, navigating through tumultuous waters. Berzolla managed to catch an early wave but fell shortly after, while his companion Finn Spencer continued riding.
For several hours, they maneuvered through the challenging ocean conditions, ultimately returning to shore with a sense of accomplishment and enjoyment from their experience.
